Career
Marszalek has an extensive background in technology and business. He started his career in 2004 as the founder and a senior executive at Starline Polska. In 2016, he founded Monaco to create a seamless and secure way to manage cryptocurrencies and traditional currencies through a single platform. In 2017, the company launched an initial coin offering (ICO) that raised $26.7 million and later rebranded as Crypto.com in 2018.
Before his involvement in the crypto industry, Marszalek established Yiyi, a mobile application company based in Hong Kong, and Beecrazy, an e-commerce business. While Beecrazy was acquired by iBuy Group and rebranded as Ensogo, Marszalek continued serving as its chief operating officer.
In 2020, Crypto.com garnered widespread recognition following a series of global marketing campaigns and after Marszalek successfully obtained licenses for its crypto-backed debit cards to operate in various countries, including significant markets such as Canada and Australia. Furthermore, Crypto.com expanded its offerings to include decentralized finance by launching DeFi Swap, a decentralized exchange. By the end of 2020, Crypto.com had amassed 5 million users globally.
