After graduation Pal’s first jobs were with the financial information company Dow Jones Telerate, then James Capel & Co. In 1997, following a tenure at Natwest Markets, he joined Goldman Sachs to manage its European hedge fund sales operation in equities and equity derivatives.
Pal began his career in finance as a portfolio manager at GLG Partners, a London-based hedge fund. He later went on to work at Goldman Sachs, where he co-managed the firm's hedge fund sales business in Europe.
