El Salvador School Students Will Study Bitcoin

El Salvador's Ministry of Education and Mi Primer Bitcoin (MPB), a non-profit non-governmental organisation, will add Bitcoin to the 2024 school curriculum.
Starting on 7 September, 150 teachers from 75 schools will receive training and diplomas to provide basic Bitcoin knowledge to public school students. If the results of the teacher training turn out to be positive, the program will be expanded to all schools in the country.
The MPB also announced global plans to teach children the basics of Bitcoin. El Salvador was the first country to adopt Bitcoin. MPB is now negotiating with the governments of two Latin American countries to implement the education plan.
