Founder Of Bankrupt 3AC Detained In Singapore
Three Arrows Capital co-founder Su Zhu was arrested at Singapore airport while trying to leave the country. The joint liquidator of hedge fund Teneo was the first to report this.
Teneo also said in a statement that Su Zhu had earlier obtained an arrest warrant from a Singapore court on Sept. 25.
The $10 billion hedge fund went bankrupt in 2022 amid the collapse of the Terra ecosystem. Since then, its co-founders Su Zhu and Kyle Davies have been absconding from liquidators. A Singapore court has ordered both to serve four months in jail. They are also banned from engaging in investment activities for nine years. Davies' location is unknown.
