Marvel artist thinks Web3 is comic book writing’s future

After a recent interview with Sean Chen, it became known that the famous comic book artist decided to leave a successful career at Marvel, DC Comics and Valiant in order to create his works using Web3 technology.

This is the first time that the artist has taken on the role of a series writer - now, with the assistance of Web3 247 Comics, he is producing a new series of comics based on NFT called “Genesis".

Although Chen initially viewed such a transition as a dangerous decision, it was necessary, even though financial success in this area was in great doubt.

However, there has already been a backlash against NFT in the comics business. Many people continue to express dissatisfaction towards those who distribute NFT. Such personalities as Pat Mills, the co-author of Judge Dredd, and the heir to the great Marvel, Stan Lee, did not escape the wrath.
