CyberConnect Launches V3 Upgrade and Announces CyberTrek Campaign
CyberConnect, the decentralized social graph protocol engineered to bolster network effects for Web3 applications, recently unveiled its V3 upgrades along with an announcement of a campaign, dubbed "CyberTrek"
Building on EVM (Ethereum Virtual Machine) chains, CyberConnect is designed to bestow users with the power to genuinely own their social identities, content, and connections on the network.
The highlight of the CyberConnect V3 upgrade is the introduction of the CyberAccount. It is an ERC-4337-compatible smart wallet that implements account abstraction, opening the door to a plethora of advantages for users. This array of benefits includes the capability to utilize dApps deployed on various blockchains without the need for network switching, paying gas fees in a preferred currency, the ability to set up a wallet via an email or phone, custom security rules, account recovery options, the facilitation of session keys and many more.
The CyberTrek campaign is a two-month journey with 1,8 M in rewards. The campaing is divided into six mini-treks, each spanning two weeks on Link3.
Each mini-trek is centered around one of the six partner blockchain networks and will spotlight their top applications and projects via a series of online AMAs, roundtables, fireside chats, and other engaging events.
Participation in the campaign is straightforward and requires just three steps: Claiming the CyberConnect V3 Evangelist NFT, topping up Gas Credit in CyberAccount (minimum $10 USD), and claiming the CyberWallet Early Access NFT. For a step-by-step guide, refer to this article.
Positioning itself as a decentralized social protocol that promotes identity sovereignty and mass adoption, CyberConnect allows users to establish profiles on EVM-compatible blockchains, thus ensuring decentralized identities. The protocol encourages users to own their social graph, content, monetization channels, and social data, enabling seamless transition across different dApps without having to reconstruct their network for each platform.
CyberConnect is committed to returning the ownership and utilities of social graph data back to its rightful owners - the users. The infrastructure provided supports Web3 developers, offering them a comprehensive base for integration and development.
This blockchain-agnostic platform supports multiple blockchains for app development, allowing Dapps to access and utilize social graph data as provided by users.
Backed by reputable investors such as Animoca Brands, Amber Group, Delphi Ventures, Polygon Studios, and many more, CyberConnect has successfully raised a total of $25M in funding across two rounds.
