LayerZero is Gearing Up For an Airdrop

LayerZero Labs has completed the first snapshot related to a potential token airdrop for community members.

On their social media accounts, the LayerZero Labs team has shared a short message about the completion of a snapshot, which will be followed by an imminent airdrop of the protocol tokens. And while the airdrop date remains unknown at the moment, the team promised to share the details very soon.

Previously, the team hinted at token airdrop in the first half of 2024. The latest social media post also hints at multiple rounds of token airdrop.

LayerZero is a communication protocol that enables the transfer of data, assets, and information between blockchain networks and not only. LayerZero's ZRO is a first-of-its-kind hyper-liquid token that launched on HyperLiquid in September 2023.

Such tokens trade similarly to perpetual futures contracts, but do not require an underlying spot or index oracle price.
