Bitcoin's Recovery Amid ETF Withdrawals
Following a 4.05% decline to the $64,360 range on Tuesday, the premiere cryptocurrency, Bitcoin, has exhibited signs of recovery over the past day, endeavoring to surpass the $65,590 threshold. Despite this effort, it encountered resistance and is presently valued at around $65,148.
A contributing factor to Bitcoin's recent descent was the observed stagnation in spot Bitcoin ETF inflows on June 18, alongside a considerable $62.3 million outflow from Grayscale Bitcoin Trust. This was notably only second to Fidelity’s ETF which experienced an $83 million withdrawal. According to analytics from Spotonchain on X, this marked the fourth day in a row of net outflows.
Samson Mow Foresees Bitcoin Reaching $1 Million
Just this week, prominent Bitcoin advocate Samson Mow reaffirmed his earlier predictions that Bitcoin is poised to reach the $1 million mark. As CEO of Jan3, Mow expressed confidence in this potential milestone, pondering only the timing and velocity of its realization. Initially, Mow pointed to daily inflows into Bitcoin ETFs and the April Bitcoin halving as pivotal events propelling BTC toward this remarkable valuation.
More recently, Mow highlighted the absence of significant price surges or “Godzilla candles” in BTC's behavior, suggesting an increasing likelihood of an “Omega candle” scenario. He even speculated that Bitcoin might leap from $70,000 to $200,000 overnight.
