Bybit Removes P2P Trading Fees
One of the largest cryptocurrency exchanges, Bybit, has announced zero fees on its P2P marketplace.
Bybit has launched a zero commission policy for its P2P trading, eliminating all transaction costs for buyers and sellers. The decision applies to all trading pairs listed on the exchange, as well as for all makers and takers on the platform.

The move is one of many in Bybit's global vision to maintain a secure and user-centric trading environment. Bybit is actively developing its platform to make trading easier. For example, last year the platform gained increased interest by introducing artificial intelligence tools based on the ChatGPT chatbot. The exchange's chatbot, ToolsGPT, provides technical analysis, verified price data and other important indicators for the crypto market.
Also, this week, Bybit launched a major educational campaign to combat fraud on the P2P platform. The need to launch such an initiative came amid increasing user complaints.
The educational program covers the ins and outs of P2P fraud, escrow fraud, impersonation tactics, SMS fraud, and other P2P scams and scare tactics.
In February, Bybit announced the launch of an increased fee for trading perpetual and futures contracts, from 0.0200% to 0.0360%. Taker fees increased from 0.0550% to 0.1000%. These changes are effective since March 7. The increase in fees affected regions that do not have Pro status.
