PayPal is expanding its cryptocurrency presence by introducing a new service for its US users. Cryptocurrency conversion is now available on PayPal.

The on- and off-ramps feature is available for wallets and dApps such as MetaMask. In addition, according to PayPal reps, the service will also be available for NFT marketplaces. And Web3 companies will be able to provide their customers with more convenient, faster and safer payment methods.

Earlier in August, the company introduced an On-Ramp feature in partnership with hardware wallet provider Ledger. The new feature enabled some users to purchase a range of cryptocurrencies, including Bitcoin and Ethereum.

PayPal is not limiting its abilities in the crypto space. The company has entered into an agreement with Paxos to develop the PYUSD stablecoin. It remains unknown whether PayPal plans to expand its cryptocurrency services globally.
