Smog Memecoin Completes Airdrop Phase Before Listing

Solana-based memecoin, Smog, has gained over 100,000 holders, becoming the new hot trend in the memecoin sector. While the project is completing a major airdrop phase, the team has hinted at the coin's imminent listing on centralized exchanges.

There are only hours left till the end of the first stage of airdrop, but market participants still have a chance to take part in it. To do so, you need to complete the quests on Zealy. These quests are an integral part of the token distribution, as their successful completion increases the potential amount of airdrop.

This phase will end today, and the second phase of quests will begin tomorrow. The second season will focus more on on-chain trading rather than just rewards for completing quests. Other details of the second phase of airdrop are not yet known.

Last week, the project team hinted about the imminent listing of memecoin on centralized exchanges. Today it was revealed that Smog will be available on MEXC.

SMOG is a memecoin that refers to the dragon Smaug from The Hobbit. It was released in early February on Jupiter DEX. The project encourages community building and engagement through generous airdrop.

Meanwhile, the cryptocurrency community has taken notice of another new memecoin on the Solana network, which is rumored to have been created by the Smog team. Slothana, a sloth-themed memecoin, has raised over $5.5 million dollars in its ICO in less than a week.
Two days ago, the team posted a tweet asking whether Slothana should only be listed on decentralized exchanges or enter centralized exchanges as well. The overwhelming majority — 77.9% — favored listing on centralized exchanges.
