Stepn Announced a $30 Million Airdrop
Once-popular Web3 fitness app Stepn announced a $30 million token airdrop for loyal users.
Solana network-based Stepn will send its users 100 million FSL points worth about $30 million, which can be exchanged 1-to-1 for GMT tokens or used in the upcoming NFT mint. The company said that it has launched this massive campaign to thank its loyal users. The $30 million airdrop will run until the end of April.
“Those who are truly playing the hard way. For them, we airdropped an FSL Points allocation based on the complexity of their in-app achievements.”
In order to get points, users need to register an FSL ID. FSL points can then be spent on NFT marketplace Mooar and the Gas Hero game, which are both part of the ecosystem.

Stepn is a move-to-earn game created in 2021. Users receive a GMT token for activity: walking or running. Rewards are available after purchasing NFT sneakers. GMT can be used to buy new digital sneakers or upgrade the game level. The game also features digital sneaker rentals. At the time of writing, GMT is trading around $0.30.
