Toncoin Rises 24% and Hits an All-Time High

Toncoin has surged 24% in the last 24 hours, reaching a new all-time high and overtaking Cardano in terms of market capitalization.

At the time of writing, Toncoin was trading at $7.07, up 24% over the past 24 hours and reaching a new all-time high. The coin managed to surpass Cardano in terms of market capitalization and take 9th place in the top 10 best cryptocurrencies.

Toncoin has risen 150% since the beginning of March, demonstrating bullish sentiment. This significant growth is due to recent additions to the Toncoin ecosystem. Recently, messenger Telegram implemented crypto monetization of channels in form of Toncoin. The introduction of TON payments for advertisers and cryptocurrency payments for content creators in the app caused a surge of activity on the network.

According to TonStat, the number of accounts on the network has doubled to around 12 million in the last month. In addition, the number of activated wallets increased by 77% to nearly 3 million in the last month.

The latest surge in the price of the Toncoin coin is due to a collaboration between TON Society and HumanCode AI. The two parties have agreed on a $5 million TON incentive program for those who prove their identity through a palm scan. HumanCode AI said that such solutions are in huge demand. Meanwhile, the TON ecosystem aims to thus attract Telegram's multi-million dollar user base in five years.
