Trust Wallet Warns Apple iOS Users of Vulnerability Risk
Trust Wallet has discovered that hackers are attacking iPhone and iOS users with a zero-day exploit via iMessage.
Trust Wallet, the cryptocurrency wallet of the Binance exchange, has reported a potential vulnerability in Apple iOS devices where hackers are attacking users with a zero-day exploit via iMessage. At this time, however, it is unknown if the cryptocurrency wallet's users have suffered any losses.
2/2: 🚨 Recommended action to guard against this iMessage exploit; disable iMessages ASAP until Apple patches this.

The company recommended that users disable iMessage in Apple's settings to mitigate the issue while waiting for the code to be fixed. To do so, go to Settings -> Messages -> disable iMessage. A zero-day attack involves unknown security bugs in software that have not yet had security mechanisms developed against them.
The statement said that hackers can access the device via iMessage and steal personal data, including cryptocurrency wallets. Users don't have to click on links or download third-party apps: attackers can gain access through a vulnerability found in iMessage.
This is not the first time the crypto community has encountered a vulnerability in Apple devices. Last month, a vulnerability was discovered that allowed hackers to steal cryptographic keys due to a bug in the processor cache in the M1, M2, and M3 chips of Apple MacBook computers.
Interestingly, the community had a mixed reaction to Trust Wallet's announcement, emphasizing that the company has no hard evidence of the exploit.
