BitGert (BRISE) is a blockchain project that has been gaining popularity recently. It is a cryptocurrency exchange with a native BRISE token and a large community of holders. Project has received mixed reactions from the crypto community, with many expressing concerns about its security and products due to the ambiguity of its self-reported 98% security rating and the lack of independent audits. So we investigated whether BitGert is a scam and reviewed the project.

Reviews and Opinions: Reddit and X

Bitgert is a cryptocurrency project that has raised questions about its legitimacy. Concerns have been raised about the project's social media approach, with the team being relatively inactive on their social media accounts. Additionally, the anonymity of its founders adds to the project's questionable credibility.

Perception of Bitgert in the crypto community currently is a mix of hype and skepticism. The project has garnered attention and speculation, particularly due to its foray into the EV market, but there are some concerns about transparency, partnerships, and alleged censorship have prompted some community members to approach Bitgert with caution.

While some sources claim that Bitgert is a real project with big potential, there are also many red flags and the lack of concrete evidence to support the project's claims. Although project has received many positive reviews for its innovation and high returns for investors, - they all are.

There are not only many Twitter threads and posts on Reddit that raises concerns about the anonymity of the creators and doubt honesty of Bitgert audits, but there are also whole community of people claiming that Bitgert/BRISE – is a scam.

The Bitgert ($BRISE) crypto project's social media activity is noteworthy. It is rapidly expanding and features a gas fee-free blockchain with high transaction capacity. Bitgert is supported on X and Telegram

The project's Twitter engagement campaign encourages users to interact with their posts. The blockchain has already processed over four million transactions.

However, there has been some skepticism regarding the project's claims, such as near-zero fees and the anonymity of its founders. Nevertheless, Bitgert's social media presence and innovative blockchain capabilities make it interesting to watch in any case, — whether it is a scam or not.

Founders and Investors of Bitgert

We know nothing about project team or CEO of Bitgert. Blockchain projects with completely anonymous CEOs and founders are often a red flag for obvious reasons. Let's discuss principles of transparency and accountability in the blockchain industry. If you don't have control of the keys, you don't have control of the cryptocurrency. In situations like this, it's unclear who has control of the keys.

There is also anonimity and pseudonymity and the difference between anonymity and pseudonymity is crucial in the context of cryptocurrencies. Anonymity completely hides a person's identity, while pseudonymity allows for identification without revealing their true identity.

Satoshi Nakamoto used a pseudonym to create Bitcoin without revealing their true identity. Shady crypto projects' anonymous founders may use their anonymity to conceal their true intentions and avoid accountability. However, this can make it difficult to hold them responsible.

BRISE token

BRISE was originally a token on the Binance Smart Chain (BSC) but has now become the native cryptocurrency of the Bitgert Chain. Its intended uses include staking, covering gas fees, and facilitating transactions within the Bitgert ecosystem. However, potential investors should be aware of certain red flags before investing in BRISE.

One such red flag is the tokenomics of BRISE, which has a maximum supply of 1 quadrillion — a significantly large number. As of November 24, 2022, the token is valued at $0.00000032 per unit, resulting in a market cap of approximately $127.86 million.

The token's large supply and low value per unit may raise concerns about its long-term value and potential for significant price appreciation. The Bitgert team has reported that 50% of the initial supply was burned, and the remaining supply is allocated to liquidity, future development, marketing, and the developer team.  This distribution may raise questions about the concentration of control and influence over the token, which could impact its stability and governance.

Additionally, the buyback mechanism of the BRISE token may also raise some concerns. While the buyback policy aims to instill confidence in investors and support the token's price, its long-term sustainability and impact on the token's value require careful consideration.

Bitgert's buyback mechanism operates by imposing a 5% buyback tax on each transaction. The tax collected is stored within the contract, and when a sale occurs, a portion of the buyback tax is utilized to procure tokens from the liquidity pool. The purchased tokens are immediately burned to maintain the token's price stability and make BRISE a deflationary asset.

The use of token is typical: staking, peer-to-peer payments and fees inside of ecosystem. Looking on its tokenomics and ways of use, we can say that this token is no different from hundreds of others.

Current Price and Price History of BRISE

Bitgert (BRISE) token's price history has seen significant fluctuations, with its all-time low recorded in September 2021 and current price significantly higher. Its market capitalization is $81,111,882, ranking #414 on CoinGecko.

Bottom Line: Is Bitgert ($BRISE) a Scam or Not

The crypto community's concerns regarding Bitgert and its native cryptocurrency, BRISE, are multifaceted. One point of concern is the role of BRISE and the on-chain services provided by the Bitgert platform. In addition, the credibility of the project has been questioned due to the anonymity of its founders, self-conducted audits, claims of near-zero fees and 100,000 transactions per second, which have raised scepticism among experts and investors.

The Bitgert crypto project and its BRISE token have attracted attention for their innovative features, but the project's credibility, transparency and long-term value remain subject to scepticism and caution within the crypto community.

It is advisable for potential investors to do their own research (DYOR) and exercise caution when considering involvement with Bitgert and the BRISE token. The project is clearly risky even for the cryptocurrency market and this should be taken into account when evaluating its investment potential.
