A substantial part of SMOG's strategy is its massive airdrop campaign in collaboration with Zealy, which distributes 35% of its total supply—equivalent to 490 million tokens, valued at about $36.2 million—to community members.
This campaign allows users to earn airdrop points by holding the token or participating in community engagement tasks through Zealy's platform. These tasks include liking specific posts and joining online communities associated with SMOG. Zealy, a platform designed to enhance social media engagement, facilitates these interactions through daily and weekly quests.
The first phase of this distribution has concluded, however the second season of Smog Airdrop has been launched recently.
Smog Token has also expanded to the Ethereum blockchain via Portal bridge, providing an additional avenue for users to stake their tokens, earning an annual percentage yield (APY) of 42% and earn airdrop points as well.

Participating in the Smog Airdrop involves several actions:

These are the primary ways to earn points. $SMOG Tokens can be swapped using SOL, USDT, or BONK on platforms such as Raydium, Mexc, Jupiter DEX aggregator, or Birdeye. Holding the tokens qualifies you for the airdrop, and activity is tracked automatically.
Additionally, the Smog website offers an OTC widget for purchasing $SMOG on Ethereum with a 10% discount. Tokens bought this way can be staked to earn an annual percentage yield (APY) and are locked for 90 days, also qualifying for the airdrop.
Also, users can use Portalbridge.com to bridge their tokens to the Ethereum blockchain for staking. Once tokens are bridged, users can stake directly on the Smog website.
Earned points are displayed on the on-site leaderboard, reflecting achievements from on-chain activities. At the end of season 2, these will be combined with points from Zealy quests to determine your total score.
