TON's Price Jumped 7% Amid Telegram Crypto Wallet Integration
Telegram implemented the TON network three years after the announcement, which caused the token price to rise by 7%.
During the Token2049 event held in Singapore, Telegram unveiled a cryptocurrency wallet. It is based on The Open Network and is available to 800 million users worldwide. The event caused the price of the network's native token to rise by 7%.

The wallet will be available from the beginning of November worldwide, except for the United States and a number of other countries. It also became known that the TON blockchain will be the first to access the Telegram Ads advertising platform.

The integration finally became possible three years after the announcement. In 2019, the company ran into problems when the SEC sued Telegram for violating the securities law when conducting an ICO for $1.7 billion. The platform had to pay a fine of $18.5 million and return the funds to investors.
