Range Protocol's Beta Testnet Redefines Liquidity Management
Range Protocol, an infrastructure designed for Active Liquidity Managers (ALMs) to efficiently handle liquidity for passive Liquidity Providers (LPs), has recently announced its entry into the Beta Testnet phase.
Range Protocol does not currently possess its own token. However, the project’s documentation states that is plans to launch its own native token, called RNG, in the future. The future RNG token will serve as the governance token for the Range Protocol DAO. Early users who have provided liquidity will potentially be eligible for an airdrop when the RNG token is launched.
Users willing to take part are invited to visit the Range Protocol app page and connect their wallets - be it Ethereum, BSC, Polygon, or Arbitrum. By selecting a vault and providing liquidity, users will have the chance to test the platform. Users are free provide liquidity on multiple vaults and on multiple chains.
Range Protocol is set to transform the sector by constructing a solid infrastructure for Active Liquidity Managers (ALMs) and passive Liquidity Providers (LPs). The platform allows liquidity providers with varying risk profiles to earn passive income, while it also empowers active liquidity managers to deploy and execute strategies atop DEXs.
Range Protocol aims to pioneer on-chain asset management with non-custodial vaults, where vault managers can transparently execute automated strategies. The platform envisages a future where blockchain-based assets are professionally managed on par with traditional financial platforms.
At present, Range Protocol has launched its first product, Automated Liquidity Management Vaults on top of concentrated liquidity AMMs. These AMM vaults provide infrastructure for market makers and trading partners to deploy a wide range of strategies on concentrated liquidity AMMs. Notably, the currently supported AMMs include Uniswap v3, Pancakeswap v3, and Quickswap v3.
Range Protocols is also developing infrastructure for Liquid Staking Automated Vaults, NFT-Finance Automated Vaults, and Derivatives Automated Vaults. These vaults are designed to optimize yields across platforms.
Range Protocol's team is claimed to be comprised of individuals with extensive experience in digital asset market making and OTC trading operations. The project places a strong emphasis on quantitative research, utilizing proprietary research methodologies to refine and optimize Range Protocol strategies. As of now, the project has not secured any investments.
